Information for Weddings:
We give tastings by appointment. We give four samples of your choice of cake. At your tasting or appointment, we can discuss your wedding cake servings, selections and design.
What sets Bella Cibo apart from other wedding cake vendors:*We make all our cakes from scratch. A well made cake is a delicious cake.*We give a more generous serving guide than the traditional 1" x 2". So you will be assured of having enough cake. This also provides piece of mind when paying a per slice charge. Pricing: Our wedding cakes start at $3.75/slice.*
We can do any cake small or large with any decorating techniques. (We do limit pulled sugar artwork, due to our geographic location...Houston is hot and humid most of the time, which would make pulled sugar a disaster). A written summary of your selections will be provided.
Please review and approve, before you agree to solicit our services and pay a non-refundable 25% deposit. Additional refundable deposits are required for tiers, cake platforms, raised wedding cake plates, or additional items. Payment is due in full 2 weeks before your reserved date. If your wedding is cancelled within 7 days of your date, all monies are unfortunately forfited.
Bella Cibo follows Harris county rules and regulations for food preparation, and have our HCPHES license. All employees have been certified in food preparation management classes. We commonly book events six months in advance and currently accept no more than three assignments in a single weekend. We nonetheless encourage people to contact us even on short notice because of the possibility of a cancellation or an opening on a given weekend.
In order to hold a date, we require a deposit of approximately 25% percent of the anticipated total. Because no one knows exactly how many guests they will be having until they receive their responses, the final count is not due until three weeks before the wedding; the balance is due two weeks before the wedding. The final count affects both the balance and the final configuration of the cake. In other words, the five-tiered cake we planned for 200 guests may turn into four tiers if the guest list drops to 150 people. But if the look of five tiers is important to you, it may be possible to change the tier sizes instead of the number. Please call or contact us for any additional information or questions.
